In May, Jo and Summer visited Martin and Su to go live on Radio Essex! Talking all things fostering, Foster Care Fortnight, and Aspirations Fostering. With over 10,000 people listening in, it was quite nerve-racking! However, with Martin and Su’s legendary experience, and a few cups of tea, Jo and Summer settled right in.

It was amazing to be able to talk about how important fostering is, and to be able to spread the word about Aspirations Fostering and our mission which is to have high aspirations for all children and young people and to strive to ensure the best
possible outcomes for them are achieved.

What was extra special about this day was that it was actually our founder’s, Angie Kirby’s, birthday. What a way to continue her legacy by having Aspirations Fostering on Radio Essex!

We want to say a massive thank you to Martin and Su, and to the Radio Essex Team for having us. Also, a massive thank you to all those who tuned in, it was truly an amazing experience.
